Good for the Goose, but. . .

This is another stirling thought from Michelle Malkin. The dems are panting over Obama, while minority Republicans remain largely invisible to the msm.

"The next time "objective" journalists gush about Mr. Obama, drop them a note and ask them to name a single minority Republican public official (besides pro-choice, pro-affirmative action, dovish Colin Powell) they truly admire."

Man Conservatives really hate Colin Powell. Why doesn't he count? I admire Dr. Rice (but I've said she has done a very bad job as NSA and I doubt she will be a good SecState but that has more to do with her deference to Bush than anything else, she would make a better PRESIDENT than an accomplice to a bad President). There are plenty of white male Republicans worthy of admiration too but that's beside the point.

And the hype over Obama isn't all about race. Have ya'll not seen the guy? he's freakin awesome. The charisma is what generates the panting, the media is not exactly friendly to Cynthia McKinney (and she's even a woman!) And there are plenty of other dudes the media likes: John Edwards, McCain, Giuliani,Schwarzenneger so I don't really get what the beef is here.
